A forward-thinking satellite intelligence and land management technology company needed a website that clearly communicated its value, simplified complex technology, and positioned the company as a leader in satellite-powered land management. Offering a powerful project management solution that leverages satellite data, their platform delivers near real-time insights through an intuitive online dashboard, enabling businesses and conservation groups to efficiently manage land, monitor changes, and maintain compliance with conservation easements. What they needed was a website built from the ground up that could effectively translate a technically sophisticated product into a compelling story for their target audience. The client wanted a site that positioned ORBO as a credible, forward-thinking solution in the land management space, supported a demo booking funnel, and reflected the professionalism expected by the institutional partners and clients they work with.

My Approach
As the web designer and front-end developer, I focused on translating ORBO’s advanced technology into a clear, engaging, and conversion-driven digital experience.
Information Architecture: I started by mapping out a user journey that introduced ORBO’s value quickly, then guided users deeper into features, benefits, and use cases, breaking down complex concepts like satellite monitoring and land tracking by structuring content to speak directly to key user group and highlighting relevant applications for each
Visual Storytelling: A clean, professional interface was designed with subtle data-inspired visuals incorporating diagrams, UI previews, and environmental imagery to help users understand how the platform works while also reflecting innovation and precision
Conversion Optimization: Developed a responsive, high-performance website optimized for all devices and implemented clear calls-to-action for demo requests, contact forms, and product exploration
Results
The final website successfully transformed ORBO’s digital presence into a polished, high-performing platform that aligns with the sophistication of its technology, by establishing ORBO as an innovative and trustworthy solution in land monitoring and project management. Clearly communicating ORBO’s unique value proposition and technology by improving user understanding of complex features through intuitive design and messaging, demo requests and qualified inbound leads increased.
