A regional business tax and accounting firm approached us to modernize their digital presence ahead of peak tax season. Despite a strong reputation built on years of client relationships and referrals, an outdated website was failing to convert visitors. We partnered with them to do two things: rebuild their website from the ground up by designing a fresh experience that was modern, easy to digest, and built to convert while also launching a targeted paid media campaign to drive qualified traffic from day one. The result is a cohesive digital ecosystem where the site and ads work together, turning clicks into customers and giving the brand an online foundation built for long-term growth.

Challenges
Visual Appeal: Modernizing an outdated website that lacked visual cohesive professionalism and failed to establish the credibility and trust that financial services clients expect

Conversions: Structuring a lead funnel for consultations and service inquiries with clear calls-to-action and adding a simplified lead capture mechanism, capitalizing on paid advertising driving qualified traffic to the new site during peak season
My Approach
As the web designer working with a digital strategist, we wanted to develop a comprehensive solution that combined a modern website redesign with targeted digital advertising campaigns.
Design Strategy: Implemented a clean, modern layout embracing white space with a professional color palette and typography to reinforce credibility.
User Experience (UX): Streamlined the navigation and implemented clear visual hierarchy making it easy for visitors to find what they needed quickly. Restructured multiple service pages into one concise page providing clarity to the core services offered. Conversion touch points were built throughout the site, including a consultation booking form to capture leads.
Performance: Google Search ads were structured around high-intent keywords targeting business owners and Meta campaigns were built to serve awareness and retargeting objectives. Both were built with conversion tracking fully implemented, with ads connected to a dedicated landing page designed specifically to convert visitors into inquiries.
Results
The website and ad campaigns were successfully launched in February 2026 and are anticipated to provide optimal results. Success for this project will be defined across several measurable outcomes. On the website side, optimal performance meant improving online visibility for business tax and accounting services, building trust and credibility through a professional digital presence, and increasing qualified leads via contact submissions. From a paid media standpoint, the goal is to drive consistent traffic from both search advertising and social media campaigns. Longer term, the aim is for the site and campaigns to work together as a self-sustaining lead generation engine that can be continually optimized and reduce the firm's reliance on word-of-mouth referrals alone.
Conclusion
The combination of a professional website and targeted advertising has created a clear lead-generation funnel, leading to more consultation bookings and higher-quality client leads. The project has transformed the firm’s online presence into a reliable growth channel supporting both their reputation and their ability to attract new business clients. By aligning the website experience with a structured, data-driven paid media strategy, the firm entered their peak season with a fully integrated lead generation system in place and a strong foundation for continued digital growth.
